DUBLIN, IRELAND - (October 26, 2018): GeoPal, a leading provider of Field Operations Management solutions today announced it has been shortlisted for "Digital Technology Services Project of the Year" in the 2018 Technology Ireland Software Awards.

Technology Ireland, an Ibec-affiliated organisation that has more than 200 member companies, has introduced a new category for this year’s eight awards.

Now in its 26th year, the annual awards seek to highlight successful entrepreneurship and the diversity of the Irish technology sector. Sponsors include Enterprise Ireland, VHI Healthcare, Bank of Ireland and Byrne Wallace.

Overall, there are eight categories including awards for emerging company, international growth, digital technologies services project, technology innovation, excellence in talent development, and outstanding academic achievement of the year.

“It’s an honour to be shortlisted for this year’s Technology Ireland Software Awards. It’s a testament to the team here at GeoPal and the customer-focused approach taken to every project” explains Gerard O’Keeffe, Chief Executive Officer at GeoPal. “The award looked specifically at a mobile change request solution implemented for SIRO and a number of contractors, and it’s great to have that work recognised on such a public platform”

"We're delighted to be shortlisted in this year's Technology Ireland awards in addition to our inclusion in the Deloitte Fast 50 list earlier this month" added Kieran Malaniff, Marketing Manager. "We're looking forward to attending the awards in the Mansion House next month and wish all the shortlisted companies luck on the night"

“The companies shortlisted this year have demonstrated outstanding performance over the past 12 months, combining aspects of technical innovation, sales achievements and successful partnering strategies,” said Technology Ireland director Una Fitzpatrick.

Shortlisted companies will shortly present to eight independent panels of judges, composed of chief executives and founders of some of the country’s most successful technology companies.

The award winners will be announced at a special ceremony at the Mansion House in Dublin on November 23rd that is expected to attract 500 people.
